Richard's Story

Educator by day...songwriter the rest of the time, Richard Neumann is an American pop-songwriter based out of Orange County, California. His songs have been licensed for use in the UK, Ireland, and Japan. As an artist contributor at Getty Music (Pump Audio), Richard has been given a platform to showcase his music and pursue sync licensing (placing audio to video).

Throughout grade school, high school, and into college, Richard has dedicated his time writing at his piano, honing the craft of writing songs, all this while he maintained his pursuit of a career in education. After college, however, after receiving his teaching credential and ultimately his masters degree in education, Richard felt it was time to pursue, with a little more focus, his passion for music and writing songs.

Richard continues to write songs, and continues to seek placement opportunities for his music. He plans on releasing more music this year and in the years to come.

Richard's pop style of writing has been influenced by songwriters like Max Martin, Diane Warren, and Ryan Tedder...and artists such as Sting, Billy Joel, Kelly Clarkson, Darius Rucker,  Richard Marx, Rob Thomas, Maroon 5, Keith Urban, U2, and Coldplay, to name a few. His songs can been heard on Internet Radio such as Pandora, Spotify, and Iheart Radio.  His music is also streaming on YouTube and available for purchase at Apple Music and several other outlets.

Please take a moment to listen to Richard's songs. If you are interested in any of his songs for your project, please feel free to contact him.  Richard looks forward to the possibility of being a part of your project.
